One of its most popular services is the issuance of the Postal ID, a government-recognized identification card accepted as a valid ID for a range of transactions.

- Accepted by many institutions, but some still require a primary ID (PhilID, UMID, passport, or driver's license) for primary verification — bring multiple IDs when transacting.
Important Reminders
- The Postal ID is one of the most affordable government IDs available — the regular fee has long been ₱504. A rush option is available at select post offices for an additional charge.
- You can apply at any PhilPost office nationwide — no need to go to the post office in your area of residence

- The Postal ID is valid for 3 years — mark your calendar for renewal before it expires
- The Postal ID is accepted by many institutions, but some still require a primary ID (PhilID, UMID, passport, driver's license) for primary KYC — bring multiple IDs when transacting
- Keep your claim stub/receipt — you will need it to track your Postal ID delivery or claim it at the post office
