PRC Introduction
PRC is the Professional Regulation Commission, the government agency responsible for regulating and supervising the practice of licensed professions in the Philippines. PRC administers licensure examinations, issues professional licenses, and ensures that professionals meet competency standards.
📌 What's new for 2026
- CPD Undertaking extended to June 30, 2026. Professionals who have not completed CPD units may still renew by signing PRC's CPD Undertaking — a sworn commitment to complete units in the next cycle.
- New PIC design (PRC Resolution No. 2104, s. 2025). Renewed Professional Identification Cards now display the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) level.
- PRC-NCR relocated to Eton Centris, Quezon City in October 2025 — verify the correct branch before booking an appointment.
- Old PRC trunklines temporarily unavailable. Use Public Information (02) 8584-7155, email pimru@prc.gov.ph, or message PRC's official Facebook page.
- 5-year PRC ID validity is not yet law. A House bill to lengthen PRC ID validity passed second reading but has not been enacted — IDs remain valid for 3 years.
