PRC Introduction
PRC is the Professional Regulation Commission, the government agency responsible for regulating and supervising the practice of licensed professions in the Philippines. PRC administers licensure examinations, issues professional licenses, and ensures that professionals meet competency standards.

Step 1: Complete a degree program from a CHED-recognized school in a regulated profession (e.g., nursing, engineering, accountancy, teaching).
Step 2: After graduation, register online via the PRC LERIS (Licensure Examination Registration Information System) to take the board exam.
Step 3: Take and pass the licensure exam. Passing rates vary by profession and are set by each Professional Regulatory Board.
Step 4: After passing, apply for initial registration to receive your PRC Professional Identification Card — your license to practice.
Step 5: Renew your PRC license every 3 years. You must complete the required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit units for renewal.
